This quest really Isn't about me but a request to help my dear older brother .
He is going through some terrible life changing trials an tribulations in the past year .
It started over a year ago .
A little bio of my brother : A now retired sheriff in Minnesota / Fredricks area . James M. Kelly badge number 806 crawford county sherriffs dept . michigan After 19 years with the department . It started as I said over a year ago he was on his way home from a hard days work before retirement ... Arriving at home it all seemed normal . The dogs were happy to see him barking at the front door . As he entered he realized the dogs (three German Sheppards) police dogs all were extremely excited an tagging the rear master bedroom . My brother called out for his wife of 28 years . But no answer !
Following the dogs back into the bedroom . Horror came over him . His dear wife was laying on the floor next to the bed . Struck down by a massive cerebral hemmorage . Instantly he called 911 living so far out in the country side it was quite some time before a support helicopter arrived / He did everything he was trained for in life support trying to resuscitate his wife and keep her blood flowing . barely breathing she was whisked away . Over a year later now . She still is in a comma / with no real hope of recovery . His life has been torn apart . massive bills piling up . even though he has medical insurance etc. like all families oh with two kids . They were living a two income lifestyle an expenses since her debilitating effects continue on n on . Challenging him to extremes . Lately he has gone through a shoulder injury an surgery . only weeks into it he is being put to a test of faith an the extremes of caring for his surviving family an dogs too. All the while trying to recuperate from the surgery . Depression has had its toll . Now I understand he's having trouble with his legs and has severe clots in the return arteries plus varicose veins due to the surgery of his shoulder evidently they used some sort of inflatable wrap balloons on his legs to elevate or keep up his blood pressure during surgery . I am not sure of the extent of his total problems with the procedure but now he is having a terrible time at walking . an has to go through another surgery to remove the clotted arteries . I myself am perplexed at what to do in aid for my dear brother as I am going trough rough economic times myself .
